There are many reasons why people seek out a rhinoplasty operation. One of the more common reasons is to reduce a dorsal hump. There are many different degrees that one can correct the dorsal hump. Often patients may present to the office stating that they want a dramatic change in their nose and other may state that they only want a subtle change with a natural appearance. In the pre-operative consultation it is helpful to have a discussion between the patient and the surgeon to explain the degree of change that is desired.
